Assam violence: Reality Check

It seemed to me that it is yet another straight forward conflict between an alien religion to this land and residual religion but it is indeed more than that simple proposition. There are too many complex factors involved the first and foremost is vote bank politics. The grand old party of India does not go by the grand old values on which it formed, its only agenda is to rule this vast land through any means emphasis added. The root cause is unlawful migrants from Bangladesh and the subsequent hesitation from the government of the day to deport them. For the sake of vote bank endangering the lives of our own citizens is certainly atrocious. Recently an honorable speaker in a forum mentioned that where ever Muslims are minority they are turbulent and where they are in majority they are dominant, this is really true. Bodos are indigenous tribes of this land of red rivers and hills, don’t they have right to live peacefully in their very own land. This government does not bother about the Indian citizens, how it could be when the top brass is Italian. 6 years of agitation is gone in vain because, the all Assam student’s union agreed for truce which is a tripartite agreement between Assam government, union government and AA student’s union. It is alleged that lakhs of foreigners are given voter ids and ration cards so that all will be loyal and vote for congress. BJP mentioned Assam as congress lab of communal hate. Going back to Assam Accord, why it is kept in abeyance. After reading the accord I have understood that a new department called Assam accord department has been created which is a nodal department for the implementation of Assam Accord and to monitor the implementation of various clauses of the Assam Accord by different departments in the state. And it also deals with All Assam student union and different ministries of Government of India involved in the process of implementation of the Assam Accord. It has been more than a decade. What is the progress made with respect to the implementation of the accord? What happened to the national register for citizens and foreigner’s tribunal and all that? The important point on this was to detect detain and deport the infiltrators/migrants, which was never carried out in full spirit neither by the state government or the central government. I have taken work flow or process chart on how a Bangladeshi migrant can be identified and deported. This is taken from “As-Is-Study of Assam Accord Department Government of Assam

All this remains in paper. Congress has become absolute corrupt which is a result of its concentrated and absolute power which remains with one single foreign woman. Its pity that voters did not realize the evil designs of the Grand old party and given them the power for the second time for which all are paying the price. In this country Hindu vote is divided but this not the case with Muslims and Christians. In words of the nationalist monk Swami Vivekananda, Hinduism is indeed polytheistic in nature, where conflicting opinions are welcome and every one’s opinion is respected, unlike the fundamentalist regimes in the Middle East or China for example. With the kind of the conversion campaign missionaries (Christian and Muslim) are engaged in to it is said that the so called minority religion’s ratio will be more than 25% soon and they will decide who will rule this country and this task is easy because the majority Hindu society is a divided house, not to mention this leftist distraction above all.

This spell of violence has started after the killing of 4 bodo youth by the Bangladeshi Migrant Muslims. The larger question is why killing has become such an inherent culture of Islam.

Simply ruling a particular part of the country terms after terms through dubious means is not a great achievement but how the citizens of this country have benefitted during that period is moot question. May be we should ask for the northern part of the Bangladesh to be attached to India because we are feeding the Bangladeshi migrants and we need them to be a part of the vote bank. After this recent round of violence the fanatic group of Muslims wants to avenge and they have driven out the northeast brothers from different parts of this country. As Dr. Subramanya Swamy mentions the Muslims have to realize their Hindu ancestry and must be proud of their roots. Let it be Mandal commission or other such commissions it is just a tool to maintain the Muslim vote bank. Congress is interested to rule and it has no other value beyond that. And in that quest importing Bangladeshi Muslims in to India and recognizing them as citizens of this country is one such method it uses and least bothered about the subsequent ethnic tensions which is certainly a national shame. Country has another chance in 2014 to vote out the current corrupt government. And I hope that chance will be utilized to its fullest benefit. Jai Hind !

Safety of kids at schools: A conundrum

Schools are indeed becoming a death trap for children now-a-days. Kids do die at crèche, kindergartens and schools too. My recent memory goes back to yercaud fire accident where nearly 80 students were dead, could not stop the tears after seeing that horrific picture. PSBB is understood to be one of those elite schools in the city to which admission is considered to be the admission to Harvard for example. In India we are always reactive instead of proactive. Coming back to the question of safety again, why there was no supervision while this nine year old kid was practicing swimming. There was a question that a coach can handle only 5 students at a time. What was the situation in this case then was he handling more than he could or did he fail to do his job. It is told that he was handling around 26 kids at that time. PSBB must be sealed for this reason. Or govt. must take over the administration of the school a fitting lesson to all those careless school administrators. Did that mean PSBB did not have enough funds to employ the required swimming coaches when there is a need? All the safety rules are there in papers but when it comes to implementation it is indeed shoddy. Is it too much to expect to be alert through which we can save lives of kids. If safeguarding the kids is becoming a difficult task for schools such as these then government must take over the administration and also and it must be fined heavily and be made to pay the compensation to the family of the child. I know courts have a different methodology to calculate the compensation. When middle class rose to cash in on the opportunities available in the market with respect to abundant jobs available and naturally mother and father have to be necessarily office goers. Recently at a crèche in Andhra Pradesh a baby died because the chapatti she swallowed was stuck in her throat, what a tragedy. It’s high time that some thing concrete has to be done about this.
